Kieran Joseph Scruggs

French Horn

From Talbott, TN, Kieran Scruggs began his horn study at 11 with Mark Harrell, Sean Donovan, and Jeffery Whaley of the Knoxville Sym. Orchestra. After 3 years as Principal Horn of the KSYO, he earned a B.M. in Horn Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder. Since that time he has continued his studies most recently with Prof. Pierre-Antoine Tremblay of the Paris Conservatory (natural and historical horn) and at the summer academy at Domaine Forget de Charlevoix (Quebec). Currently, he is a member of the historical performance academy at Abbaye aux Dames in Saintes, France and lives in Talbott, TN.
